Frequently
Asked
Questions
Can I review on Ahoi as a person without a disability?
Yes! We encourage contributions from everyone. You can add as much or as little information as you like—such as noting street obstructions or sharing details about locations. Photos are especially helpful, as they can assist many users. Remember, accessibility benefits all.
How do I know if I’m reviewing the right way?
The app includes explainer screens to guide you. Think of it like Google Maps, with a focus on accessibility features like automatic doors, entrances, grab bars, and restrooms. Add as much as you like—others can fill in the gaps. Each review provides three key data points: what’s available, what isn’t, plus photos and comments.
Where is the app available?
The app is currently available for download in the U.S. and Canada, with Boston as our home market. It can be used anywhere.
